Most online weight loss and hormone services offer a short questionnaire, a brief review, and a prescription. PrimeLife does not work that way. Every patient has a mandatory video consultation with a qualified clinician before any treatment begins. We carry out targeted blood testing to understand what is actually driving your symptoms. Treatment is monitored throughout, not just at the point of prescribing. We take the time that other services cut out.
Your treatment does not stop at the prescription. Your clinician monitors your progress with regular reviews, adjusts your treatment where needed, and remains available to address any side effects or concerns throughout your programme. Weight loss medication works best as part of a structured, monitored programme — not as a standalone product with no follow-up.
PrimeLife operates through Wellness Pharmacy, a GPhC registered pharmacy based in Cardiff, Wales. Our clinical consultations take place via video, meaning patients across Wales and the UK can access our services without needing to attend in person. All medication is dispensed through our GPhC registered pharmacy and delivered directly to you.
No. Medication is only prescribed where it is clinically appropriate following your assessment. If your clinician determines that medication is not right for you, they will discuss the reasons and signpost you to appropriate alternatives.
Yes. A mandatory video consultation is required before any prescription is issued. This is a core part of how PrimeLife works and is in place to protect your safety.
The laboratory rejected the original sample because it was unsuitable for testing. To allow testing to proceed, a replacement collection kit was automatically issued. The replacement kit fee covers the cost charged by the laboratory for supplying the new kit.
